Regional Sales Manager - North East Region

Gale Technologies flagship product, GaleForce, delivers software that enables businesses to create dynamic physical & virtual infrastructure with fine-grained scheduling and provisioning of resource for many people, many templates, by leveraging existing IT resources.

The North East Regional Sales Manager (candidate should reside NY/NJ/PA/DE) is the primary contact for the Gale Technologies (Gale) customers and prospective customers.   As such, this individual will target new business opportunities to the Fortune 2000 Enterprises, MSP/SP, and Technology vendors, while maintaining add-on growth with our existing 70+ customers.
The position entails aggressive prospecting, identifying qualified opportunities, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities.

Essential Job Functions

  • Devise and execute on quarterly and annual sales plans to meet Gale’s revenue goals
  • Manage sales processes including customer presentations, sales opportunity management, sales forecast and pre/post sales support
  • Manage sales engineering support and sales channels found in Region
  • Develop sales throughout geographic territory – some travel required
  • Manage corporate resources, provide constant and accurate feedback to market development and sales opportunities


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of enterprise sales management and direct sales experience required (Preferably selling Infrastructure and automation software)
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit with excellent time management skills
  • Strategic account management experience in addition to new business development experience
  • Software solution and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with across functional organizations

Sr. Professional Services Engineer

Gale Technologies is currently looking for a Senior Professional Services Engineer.  This individual would be responsible for the deployment and support of Gale Technologies products at customer sites. Candidates must have previous experience working with a Software Services organization, with hands-on knowledge and experience working with LAN, WAN, Data Center infrastructure and Virtualization technologies. This position will require significant travel to meet with customers, assess needs, and deploy Gale software and solutions in pilots and production environments. Exposure to a variety of technologies is a must.

Responsibilities Include: 
  • Assess customer lab infrastructure and orchestration / provisioning practices to assist in proposing solutions using Gale Technologies products 
  • Develop, deploy, and support implementation plans for integrating Gale Technologies solutions into customer environments 
  • Become Technical point-person for customer deployments as needed 
  • Manage Gale Internal Lab for proof-of-concepts and customer demos 
Required Qualifications:
  • MUST HAVE U.S. Citizenship.  No H1-B allowed as this job will require Security Clearance.
  • Active Security Clearance is a big plus 
  • Experience working with a Services organization, preferably in projects involving onsite-offshore work distribution 
  • Hands-on experience working with one or more of LAN, WAN, Data Center infrastructure and Virtualization technologies with 
  • At least 2 vendor certifications from the list below of Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of a scripting language (one or more of Tcl /Expect, Perl, Python, Shell, etc)

Software Developers (Java)

Gale Technologies is currently looking for Java Developers to integrate the product development team. Candidates must have previous experience working in Product Development organizations using Java technologies. Candidate will be responsible for design and development of GaleForce product suite.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, development and implementation of GaleForce product suite of Gale Technologies
  • Strong core java development skills.
  • Design modules or make changes to the existing components and present a critical design 
  • Use latest /open source Java technologies to implement the solution. 
  • Will be responsible for the Unit testing and integration with other components 
  • Provide necessary support to the important life cycle tasks like building releases, customer facing documentation and maintenance of the modules.

Software Engineers/Leads - Engineering Services

Gale Technologies is currently looking for Software engineers to integrate their professional.engineering services team. Candidates must have previous experience working with a Software Product / Services organization in developing and supporting products / solutions on Linux environments. Good hands-on knowledge and experience working with one or more of Telecom / SAN / Data Center infrastructure / Virtualization / Cloud technologies is preferred. Candidate will be responsible for Design, Development and Validation of technology-specific solutions based on Gale products.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, Develop and Validate technology-specific solutions based on Gale products
  • Deploy and validate solutions developed in the customer environment – through remote access, or onsite visits to customers, as needed
  • Impart training on solutions developed to Gale internal teams and external customers, as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • ME / M.Tech / BE / B.Tech (Computer Science / Electronics / Communications) from reputed institute
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following languages – Tcl / iTcl/ Expect, Perl, Python, Shell scripting, Ruby

QA Automation Lead

Gale Technologies is currently looking for  a QA Automation Lead to integrate our growing QA group.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect, design and lead the technical implementation of test automation platform.
  • Provide technical guidance to the QA team. 
  • Prioritize automation tasks.
Required Qualification:
  • ME / M.Tech / BE / B.Tech (Computer Science / Electronics / Communications)/MCA from reputed institute
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Sr. Visual UX Designer

At Gale Technologies, we are launching the next phase of our company's growth. We are in the process of hiring a Visual/Graphic Web Designer to help us build our next generation cloud orchestration platform. We are looking for a Visual Designer with strong creative skills for both web, and desktop apps. This is a design position, not a code/development position. We have plenty of smart engineers already around for that.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate  must have a minimum of 5  years experience minimum in build designs for web sites, web applications, desktop applications that are live or have been released.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, HCI or a closely related field
  • Must be able to perform and interact creatively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, operating in a true start-up and ready to fully participate within a high commitment, lean, aggressive team
  • Master deliveries from design comps to production HTML/CSS templates, including all graphical elements
  • Must have experience in designing Web 2.0 like web apps. Print and illustrations is a plus.
  • Must have experience with web product skinning
  • Strong experience with Multi-platform / Multi-browser portability issues
  • Background/experience working in IT environments related companies is a plus
  • Multi-site Development Team experience also a big plus
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Understanding of scripting language would be a plus (JQuery, JS, JSP, Ruby)
